Virtual Radio - Intro to Community Media Workshop

Intro to Community Media Workshop for NEW members who would like to submit a radio show application and learn how to get involved with 106.5 FM at PhillyCAM. 

Our Intro to Community Media Workshop for Radio will explain what it means to be a WPPM programmer at PhillyCAM, what listeners can find on our current schedule and what programming we seek, how members interested in radio can collaborate with other producers, how to properly complete WPPM's Radio Application, and how members can submit radio specials (without applying for a slot on the schedule).

We will discuss the spirit of community radio, the history of LPFM, and how WPPM-LP came to be, as well as how program ideas can be developed while following PhillyCAM's Mission and WPPM's Guiding Principles.

This workshop is for NEW members who would like to find out how to submit content to air on WPPM 106.5 FM at PhillyCAM. This is a VIRTUAL event and the Zoom link will be shared with participants before the start time via email. This workshop is for new producers creating radio content from home.
